Sunday Weigh in :)

Ok, so Im going to start every sunday making sure I at least jot down my weight updates on here!

Pre-pregnancy- 125 lbs  Goal weight- 125 lbs

I gained a good 50+ lbs with Aiden
(oh dear goodness..Yes I said that outloud)

As of:
Sunday 1/17/11 - 141 lbs
Sunday 1/24/11- 139 lbs

-I am offically back in the 130's!!!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels. Its 20 minutes a day, and combined with some extra cardio and eating right (or just not eating like im still pregnant) seems to be doing the trick!

Once I get a little more into shape Im going to add some heavier cardio back into the routine, I just don't think my heart is ready for that yet haha, I am just starting to be able to breathe through what im already doing!

Babe,
Yea thats right.. I admitted that I got way too huge while I was pregnant haha. Hopefully I've learned some self control by the next baby (which is a LONG ways away, just sayin) but what can I say, I love food haha.. but its feeling SO good to get back in shape! Hopefully you can keep me in line when ya get home ;) I love you so much handsome! can't wait to kiss your smelly face.

Im Italian? OF COURSE I can make lasagna ;)

Now I can at least :)
Kudos to Sarah Sparks for teaching me!

Aiden and I had a great day today! Sarah and I had been talking for a while about getting together for a cooking lesson & I was off today so it worked out perfectly! We went up to Floyd around 2ish and didn’t get home until 8 or so, It was good to spend time with them! Aiden loves his Uncle Damon, Its precious actually.

5 things I learned from tonight’s meal:
  1.  When in Floyd you don’t buy meat from Kroger.. you “split a cow with your brother”
  2. Cracking noodles can be painful
  3. There is no such thing as too much cheese
  4. Ricotta cheese can be substituted with Cottage cheese
  5. Even when Dieting, I can’t resist cheesecake

Oh, and we didn’t just cook..we Daaaanced.
Dance central with the kinect might be the best game I’ve ever played. Its hilarious, exciting and it’s one heck of a work out if you get going. I think I can soulja boy circles around the next person now. Between the boogie, the snake, and the whatever made you combine way to many movements, im exhausted haha.

Sarah was a great teacher tonight.. she was afraid of making me feel stupid, but heeeeelllo I can boil water and THANK GOODNESS , operate a microwave. Believe me, I wont feel stupid. ;)

  MEAL # 3 = SUCCESS!!!

Spreading the cheese.. I HATE for things to get under my fingernails.

Oh ya know, just cooking away..

 Finished product :) :)

I give it 2 thumbs up!

Taking a break to snuggle with my main squeeze.

Hubby,
I hope you like Lasagna, because now that I know how to make it.. that may be the only thing you get for the months following homecoming haha.. good thing I can work a microwave ;) Also-we are buying a kinect and playing dance central.. you are SO going down. I think this may be the only game I KNOW I can beat you at ;) Sorry babe.. I had to say it… Oh, and I beat you at battle of the sexes one time.. but Im always going to win that war ;), Aiden sends his snotty nose kisses and I send, well… not so snotty kisses haha. I miss you to the moon and back, but I love you tons more! Xoxo,
-Wifey.

May 10th, 2010.

Aiden and are boarding our plane at 6:00!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Ok, enough of that. I just can't tell you how excited I am to finally live with my husband. In a normal every day world we would have been living together for 9 months already, buuuut ya know, thats the MC lifestlye I suppose.

10 Things im looking forward to :
  1. No more sattelite phones
  2. Kissing my love
  3. Pat being SAFE and sound
  4. Not having my heart in my throat every time the door bell rings
  5. Having my little bitty family together
  6. Not buying 3424 stamps
  7. Making my homecoming sign
  8. Waking up with my love
  9. Seeing him EVERYDAY. woah.
  10. Kicking this long distance crap to the curb

Haha, is it obvious that im excited? Don't get me wrong.. It's going to be really hard to leave Salem, I've never left this town before and flying 4000 miles across the world isn't really baby steps... but Im ready. God has a plan for my life bigger than anything I could ever dream for myself, and I trust him with my heart, my life and soul. I just didn't know it was going to include being married, being a mommy, and moving across the world, but hey, Im game! Alot of my friends from highschool and I don't quite keep in touch anymore, yeah it would be so easy to "comment a wall" every now and then, but is that really friendship? Dont get me wrong, I still love these people and care about them.. but the few close friends I have these days, well...its going to be torture saying goodbye to them.

BUT, I am also excited to make new friends, and basically kick off this chapter in my life :)
Babe,
Can ya tell Im ready for June? Enough said. I love you with everything I have.
 xoxo,
Kelsey

Aiden Webber is 2 Months Old!

When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
John 16:21

This scripture couldn't be more true! Yes, Delivery was less than plesant..but every day I have with Aiden is a true blessing!

Sooo he was 2 monts on December 23rd haha,
but had his 2 month appt. at the beginning of January!

Birth                 2 Months
                Head-12 inches        Head-15.75
       Weight-6.8 lbs          Weight-12.4lbs
     Length-20 inches           Length-22.50 inches

He got 3 vaccines : Rotavirus, dtap & Hib and he was a champ, he cried for all of 20 seconds and then once I was able to pick him up he was just fine! (i think we have a momma's boy on our hands ;) )

Aiden is a show off, he is so great at doctor's appointments! They made the comment that his eating is "definately not a problem" hahaha, my little man is turning into such a ham! He still has his nasty cold (ok, so he looks like Patrick, but he got his mommy's crummy immune system, awesome.) but everything else looks great!

I went through all of this clothes today and put away MORE of his "too small" clothes in totes, my tiny sweet boy, the one who JUST 2 months ago.. was 6 lbs and in PREMIES, is bursting out of clothes haha. He is comfortably in 3 month clothes and his 0-3 months still fit, but some of them are starting to see their last days...tear :...(

my big baby!

Patrick,
All I need to say is that we created such a sweet baby boy..which you already know. I can't wait for you to see how big he is getting and how much he looks like you. He smiles all the time and is starting to have little giggles here and there. The card im sending you has him laughing, so youll get to see it :) Oh, and his mommy missed you way too much, I think its time to pack up and come on home.
We love love love you!
